Since then I have gotten engaged, married, bought a shack, baked, crafted, worked more, worked less and now work more again. Hiked a little of the Flinders Rangers (South Australia), taken the new family twice to Tasmania to visit their new extended family, been a bridesmaid for my beautiful friend Gail and had the most amazing time on Brunie Island for her hens weekend, lost my loving and very faithful companion Borrie Dog to old age, mourned his loss, started a youth work course, started work on the shack, started knitting a jumper for my hubby (have only knitted a scarf and a beanie with much supervision and help), baked more and more, had friends move away and now have a cat and an addiction to Pintrest.
Yes, there was a lot of DIY in the wedding planning. I will post some of it later. We had an amazing honeymoon on Fraser Island QLD in a resort and then in Tassy in a camper van! The best of both worlds.
The shack is a HUGE DIY project and the walk on the beach at the end of the day makes it all worth while.
